Skype for Windows Phone is Release Soon
Skype for Windows Phone . Microsoft’s Windows Phone Skype app appears to be release soon . Skype’s VP with products, Rick Osterloh, revealed that Microsoft’s Skype division is “working for a Windows Phone product that is to be coming out soon, ” during an interview at CES 2012. Skype for Windows Phone – Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore, Director in the Windows Phone program, at first promised that Skype would arrive on Windows Telephone in late 2011, a date that has passed without comment or clarification in the company. We understand, that this initial release of Skype do not feature deep Windows Telephone integration, and that Microsoft is planning this with regard to “Apollo” and beyond.
Microsoft’s first Skype for Windows Phone application will largely be observed as an interim release until Windows Phone “Apollo” is manufactured available, expected later this coming year.
